Introduction

Model BWY—804 Transformer Thermoregulator is a new generation product derived from Model BWY—802/803 one in compliance with JB/T 6302-92 Standard of Pressure-type Thermoregulator For Transformer issued by The National Machinery Ministry. It is suitable for taking measurement and control of oil temperature in a medium-sized or Large-sized transformer.

The BWY—804 has the following new points:

  1.  Wide scope of application

To meet the need of intelligent control in an unattended transformer house, the BWY—804 can output following controlling signals

(1)  Pt100 platinum resistance signal

(2)  4-20mA direct current signal

(3)  RS232/RS485 communication interface

2. Four sets of switch, which can be set within a whole span, are employed to respectively control over the transformer cooling system, overheating alarming and tripping, etc.
